In a few days' time we'll be announcing a new bonus DVD that you'll be able to use in tandem with your tutorial DVDs - real, actual high definition video content that you'll be able to import into your computer in order to experiment with true HD editing - even if you don't have your own HD camcorder!

We've had a lot of enquiries from users worried that their computers won't be able to cope with the demands of HD video editing and ask whether there is a sizeable amount of sample material available that they can use to not only experiment with but also to start to learn how to edit video to a professional standard.

The first of our Sample Content DVDs will be along very soon; it will contain full-resolution 1920x1080 AVCHD clips along with a set of equivalent 1280x720p clips (for those whose computers can't cope with full-HD), together with Standard Definition clips as well as a sample commentary track (supplied in both WAV and AIFF audio formats) which will help you to piece together a real video sequence. Not only that, but we'll include a PDF file of the actual commentary script that you can use to record your own commentary should you feel the urge!
